We are looking for an experienced Product Manager, who can work harder, faster, and smarter without sacrificing technical excellence. We believe that small, empowered, self-motivated teams can do amazing things. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Business Development, Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.

Collaborate with other business units/partners within to capitalize on opportunities within your product line(s).

You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with Market Segment Managers to define products and solutions for individual markets and a product development counterpart to define product release requirements. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.

The Product Manager is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with Sales and Marketing to successfully launch new products. This position will work within cross-functional teams including R&D, Engineering, Production and Quality Control to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

Job Description:
Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide product forecasts based on historical data, market conditions, and working closely with area and regional sales managers on key projects and accounts.
  • Building product road-maps, product strategy, product lifecycle management, and product differentiation to help guide new product development.
  • Define new product offerings utilizing market requirements, the voice of customer, and value proposition.
  • You will participate in the creation of a business plan and product definition to justify development of new technology or products.

Creating and implementing product launch plans

  • Completing application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.

Knowledge/Experience Requirement:

  • Past experience working with customers, collecting requirements, gathering product feedback, leading focus groups, etc
  • Experience creating value propositions, roadmaps, and go to market plans for products
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and lead projects
  • Someone who loves performing market research and competitive analysis
  • Plus if they have experience in the construction and software industries
  • Work with the marketing team to maintain the product catalog information

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College or university; and one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions.
  • Good analytical and communications (verbal and written) skills.
  • Work is logical, analytical, detailed and precise.
  • Accepts responsibility to see projects to completion, meeting accuracy and efficiency goals
  • Works efficiently and cooperatively with a small group and with minimal direction and supervision.
