Installation Support
 
Our Upper Kirby client is looking to add to its Installation Support team. Tasks include issuing, operating, maintaining, synchronizing, and troubleshooting issues with purchased/or renewed certificates on multiple client and server platforms. This position also helps to ensure tokens/certificates are renewed before expiration.
 
What you will do:

  • Gain experience and training in cyber security, and digital certificates
  • Troubleshoot digital certificate installation issues with customers
  • Work one on one with customers to answer questions and resolve their technical problems
  • Support customers via telephone, e-mail, and web-based ticketing system at the same time as demonstrating excellent customer service
  • Help manage customer digital certificate requests, including installation and renewal
  • Maintain a level of professionalism and a steady work pace
  • Escalates to and assists technical team in troubleshooting customer digital certificate issues

 
Required Skills:

  • Must have a technical support background
  • Technical Support Level II/III experience
  • Experience helping customer(s) troubleshoot technical issues over phone
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time and be very results-oriented
  • Must work well both independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

 
Nice to have:

  • Tech support experience where one would distinguish if the issue were hardware or software related 
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and database operations
  • A working knowledge of the certificate authority industry

 
Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
